N76400 - The First 767-400!
What is the 767?
The Boeing 767, one of the most successful aircraft by Boeing, has a significant history.
This aircraft has many usages and variants, ranging from civilian to military use!
The 767 was launched in 1978 under the "Boeing 7X7" Program, which was the name before the X was replaced by the 6.
Example of a 767 concept below:
The First 767.
The first 767, introduced in 1982 as the 767-200 with United Airlines being the launch customer. This was the start of this aircraft's journey in history.
The different variants of the 767.
It had 3 main 767 types, with each having their own ER (Extended Range), Private, Military, or Cargo variants. The shortest of the three, the 767-200, then the middle, most popular one, the 767-300, and finally, the 767-400.
The 767-200 and 767-300 were both the more popular variants, with airlines around the world using them for civilian and cargo operations, and military organizations using them as the bases for their new aircraft such as the KC-767.

The 767-400.
On the other hand, the 767-400 was not as popular as these.
With only 37 units being built of this aircraft, the 767-400, which is the largest variant of the 767, was launched in June, 2000.
Only Delta, United, and the former Continental had ordered this aircraft.
Delta Airlines, from the USA, is the biggest operator of this aircraft. One of their 767-400s, N827MH, is the most historical 767-400.
N827MH below:

N827MH, formerly known as N76400, was the very first 767-400.
Having taken its first flight on December 30th, 1999, and being launched in June of 2000, this was supposed to be a new era for the 767.
This aircraft was designed to be a replacement for aging aircraft, while incorporating more space and features from the newer Boeing 777.
Sadly, this aircraft hadn't caught on very well, and was the least successful of the 767 family.
N76400 wore 2 different house liveries, one being the traditional cheatline livery, and the other one being a special one called "Leading The Way"
Both of these liveries were made by multiple model companies, such as JC Wings.
